Meet the TTP Team
Tara - Owner, Lead Photographer
Tara has been photographing weddings full time since 2010. The first 12 of those years was spent in the Gulf coast of Florida, where she was born. After photographing a wedding in New Hampshire in 2019,
Tara and her family fell in love with New England. The lifelong Floridians packed up and moved to Maine in 2022, where they now enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons and the slow pace of a small, rural community. Tara still serves couples in Florida, splitting her time between the two areas which have opposite wedding seasons.
Tara will be scheduled as your lead photographer unless otherwise discussed prior to booking
Favorite things: audiobooks, true crime podcasts, gardening, anything cottage core, her two pups, Oliver & Juniper and three kitties, Healy, Lucie, & Meadow.
Michael - AssociatePhotographer, Second Photographer
When it comes to weddings, Tara always says that Michael is the closest thing there is to a clone of herself.
That can happen after 12 years of working together! In addition to being the most reliable person Tara has ever known, Michael truly loves thinking of new, creative shots and is always ready to run, jump, and climb to get it done. Despite this abundance of energy, Michael has a calming, steady presence that is incredibly well suited to weddings.
Other interests: surfing, cars and automotive photography, surfing, nature and macro photography, and his cats, Pepper & Michael (yes, he and his cat share a name!).
Ashley - AssociatePhotographer, Second Photographer
Ashley brings so much positive energy the moment she walks through the door. For years, I wanted a team member who could be my travel companion and friend, as well as a talented and skilled photographer. I am so fortunate to have found that in Ashley. It took a decade to find someone else I feel 100% comfortable with representing TTP if that doesn't inspire confidence, I don't know what does! Ashley's has three wonderful little ones and an incredibly supportive husband who often provides Ashley & Tara with his unique brand of subtle comic relief.
Other interests: reading, audiobooks, hosting a book club, wardrobe styling, and her two kitties, Henry & the cuddliest of all, Archer.
Emmie - Associate Photographer, Second Photographer
Tara says that when she thinks of Emmie, she thinks of an incredible stroke of luck. More than one stroke of luck, really. Emmie was the first photographer Tara hired to second shoot with her in New England, and she was a HOME RUN! Tara knew right away that she wanted Emmie to be her go-to for New England weddings. As if this immediate gift of good fortune wasn't enough, Tara unknowingly ended up buying a house in a neighboring town when she moved to Maine. But that's not where the luck ends. Emmie also has ties to the Gulf coast of Florida, and is always eager to work with Florida couples. Thank you, universe!
Other interests: supporting and photographing cheer competitions, spending time with family, gardening, and cuddling her adorable new puppy.
